This morning I finally passed the 4k mark. Since I missed a full day on Thursday because of writer’s block and doubt about where the story was going, I wouldn’t let myself leave the computer yesterday until I reached around 3500. But I got there eventually so today’s been a bit easier.
And I did an emotional scene, too, so I feel as if I’ve referred enough to the previous book enough to move on. Finding the line between a reasonable amount of reference to slowing the story down has been a bit difficult, but for now I’m quite happy with how it’s going.
But away from NaNoWriMo, I thought about doing one of those Ask Me Anything posts because I’ve seen quite a few of them and it’d be a chance for you to get your questions out in the open. After today, I don’t have anybody lined up for the Indie Interview posts, so if any of you have any questions you’d like to ask me, feel free.
Don’t forget to check out my interview with Karen Ann Hopkins when it’s uploaded later. There’s a surprise at the end, and I can’t wait to hear what you think.
