The Game Begins

Book 1 in the Sam Beckett mysteries.

It’s been four years since the car crash took away her father and Sam Beckett’s nightmares are back with a vengeance.

When her friend suggests she take a PI course to distract herself, Sam agrees, but she soon realises it won’t be as simple as she expected when her first case leads to a woman being killed, her husband accused of her murder, and a series of threatening text messages sent to her phone which lead Sam to believe that her father’s crash might not be the accident everyone thought it was.

The plot is fantastic, full of twists and turns. A real page turner from a young writer. Looking forward to the next book!

I downloaded this book because it had 5 stars and good reviews and I’m so glad that I did. Sam is relatable and funny and Marshall sounds like a good friend. When’s the next one coming out?

Excellent book, very addictive. definitely worth a read!

Very well written, excellent story line.

I love this book. It’s been awhile since I read YA mystery. So this one is very refreshing for me. I thought this will be just ordinary teenager mystery solving case, but when the murder happens, it’s definitely more than what I had expected. If you love mystery, you have to try this one.
